How it began
Born from a love of dogs
Pawfect Groom was founded in 2016 by Sarah Mitchell, a qualified groomer with a deep frustration at what she was seeing across the industry — rushed appointments, generic products, and dogs left more stressed than when they arrived.
She opened a small studio in Melbourne's inner north with a different philosophy: every dog gets time, attention, and products chosen specifically for them. Word spread quickly. What started as a one-woman operation has grown into a tight-knit team of passionate specialists, each bringing their own area of expertise to the studio.
Today, Pawfect Groom serves hundreds of dogs across Melbourne every month — from first-time puppies to senior dogs who've been visiting us for years. We're proud to be the groomer so many families trust and return to, appointment after appointment.
